John Hoover, Assistant to the Pastor
John has been a member of EBF since 1978. John's wife of 33 years, Kathy grew up at Emmanuel. John has served the last 27 years in WA State government. During his career, he managed two statewide paternity establishment programs within the Washington State Division of Child Support. He recently "retired" from state service to join our staff on a part-time basis. He is a graduate of California State University, Chico (MBA and B.S.) and Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon (M. Div.). Kathy is a school nurse in the North Thurston Public Schools. John and Kathy have raised three children, Joshua, Kirsten and Caleb. They have a son-in-law, Corey, and a daughter-in-law, Loretta. And, like many grandparents, they will always tell you joyfully about their two grandchildren, Gavin and MacKenzie.
